The Toolkit is a product of Yale University's International Operations Compliance Committee (IOCC).
When establishing an international relationship, the parties may sign a document describing their intentions. You may use this form to submit information needed for drafting an agreement or otherwise requesting support for a new international relationship.
Upon completing this form, your responses will be forwarded to staff in the Office of the General Counsel and/or the Office of Grant and Contract Administration (depending upon the nature of the relationship) who will work with you to support the relationship.
While we may be able to accommodate your request sooner, please allow ten business days from the time you submit the request for preparation of a draft. You will receive an email indicating that your request has been submitted. If you have any questions or need assistance with completing this form, please contact Cynthia Carr, Associate General Counsel and Director, International Legal Affairs, Office of the General Counsel, or Jeff McGuinness, Senior Contract Manager, Office of Grant and Contract Administration.
Prior to execution of the agreement by the appropriate Yale official, which is done either through the Office of Grant and Contract Administration or the Office of the General Counsel, you will need to obtain approval from your Dean or Department Chair and the relevant Provost.
In addition, you may need to obtain approval from the Secretary's Office for use of Yale name beyond ordinary references to programs and from the Office of International Affairs if this is a new and significant relationship.
