New Travel Assistance Program

Effective January 1, Yale’s travel assistance program transitioned to International SOS (ISOS) from UHC Global.  With ISOS, the Yale community will gain access to more robust travel safety resources, including additional training and travel intelligence options, and, in most cases, supplemental out of country medical care coverage.  Starting in mid-2019, ISOS will provide Yale with a travel registry that is integrated with its travel assistance services as well.  All Yale community members will continue to be automatically enrolled in Yale’s travel assistance plan for both business and pleasure travel.

Travel assistance programs provide 24/7/365 service for Yale students, faculty, and staff (and accompanying family members) who are more than 100 miles from home.  Services include help with locating medical providers, paying medical bills, facilitating emergency evacuations, replacing lost documents, and more.
